What is that popping or cracking sound?
That popping sound during a chiropractic adjustment isn't your bones cracking, it's an exchange of gas bubbles within the joint. The adjustment stimulates nerve receptors, improving body awareness, coordination, and muscle function. Chiropractic adjustments do more than make noise -- they help your body move better, communicate better, and heal better.

Do you take insurance?
Yes, we accept most insurance including Medicare, Medicare Supplements, UHC Medicare Advantage, and many others. We do not accept Medicaid.
Please bring your insurance card(s) in and we will do a complimentary benefit check.
Your Doctor will sit down and go over your financial plan with you when we hear back from your insurance company.
A referral from a primary care physician is not required to receive Chiropractic care.
Is Chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Absolutely, yes!

How long will the visits take?
Your first visit as a new patient will take about 45 minutes. This is a detailed, comprehensive exam including:
- Learning About Your Goals
- Health History
- Chiropractic Exam
- Detailed Motion X-Rays
- Functional Neurology Assessments
- Orthopedic Assessments
During your second visit, Dr. John will provide you with a Report of Findings including:
- X-Ray Findings
- Care Plan Based on Your Goals
- Financial Plan and any Insurance Benefits
The second visit typically takes about 45 minutes.
After your initial visits, your future office visits will typically take about 15 minutes. If you are receiving laser therapy or completing rehabilitation exercises, the visits can take a bit longer.
What is the cost?
We see patients that prefer not to use insurance, those with insurance, and those without insurance.
If you have insurance you would like us to file, we will do a benefit check and the Doctor will sit down and go over a financial plan with you.
Regardless of insurance the cost of the first visit including a detailed history, exam, and x-rays with the doctor will be at most $200.
Do you adjust babies and children?
Yes, we adjust people from 0-100!
Birth, regardless of the delivery method, is the first trauma to the spine. That stress of twisting and pressure as the baby passes through the birth canal can cause the first subluxation in their tiny spine. That can interfere with the most powerful system of the body…the nerve system.
If we determine an adjustment is needed for your child, we will let you know. Adjustments for babies are the same pressure as if you were checking a tomato to see if it’s ripe. Soft, simple and safe for any age. We are blessed to be able to care for all sizes of your family members from little ones to great grandparents.
After all, proper spinal alignment early on in life allows for more optimal neurologic reflexes, milestone achievement, and easier growth during the . Encouraging lifelong healthy habits is one of chiropractic's best benefits for kids.
Can I see a Chiropractor if I have spinal surgery?
Yes, we see patients that have had numerous spinal surgeries including fusions. The good news is that we have numerous techniques that can be utilized to safely adjust the spine. The doctor will explain this in detail during your visit.
Do you offer "full-body" adjustments?
Dr. John provides specific adjustments. Specific means that it is specific to your body's needs. Dr. John uses research-based techniques that are safe and allow your body to heal and function.

Do I need to have x-rays?
We take motion x-rays on adults because we want to see exactly what is going on with the spine. We go over these findings with you in great detail on your second visit.
We do not take x-rays on small children or those that are pregnant.

Will I get adjusted on the first visit?
Dr. John completes an in-depth exam and takes detailed motion x-rays on the first visit. He spends quite a bit of time between your first visit and your second visit to review your x-rays and exam findings. Typically, he does not adjust people on the first visit. However, there are exceptions.
Do you do gentle adjustments?
Dr. John is highly trained in many different adjustment techniques. He will use the technique or combination of techniques that works best for your specific situation. He is able to use an Activator or ProAdjuster if you prefer not to receive a manual or hands-on adjustment.
